Question 1

When should I Book a Face Painter?

Accepted Answer

We get it—planning months ahead can feel a bit crazy, but trust us, it is so worth it!
To make sure your favorite artist is available for your big day, we highly recommend booking 4 to 6 weeks in advance for standard weekends, and 2 to 3 months in advance if your party falls during peak seasons.
Locking in your date early means you get to check "epic entertainment" off your to-do list, sit back, and look forward to the magic

Question 2

What type of products do you use?

Accepted Answer

At Chawna’s Face Painting for FUN, we prioritize the safety and comfort of our clients above all else.
We exclusively use premium face paints and skin-safe cosmetics engineered for professional application. Our vibrant, high-grade paints are paired with FDA-compliant, cosmetic-grade glitters to ensure a brilliant finish that is exceptionally gentle on the skin. Every product in our professional kit is non-toxic, and easily removed with mild soap and warm water.

Question 3

Are you Insured?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely! At Chawna's Face Painting for FUN, we carry comprehensive general and professional liability insurance through Beauty & Bodywork Insurance (BBI).
Your safety, peace of mind, and protection are our top priorities. Whether we are painting at a backyard birthday, a crowded festival, or a corporate venue, our policy provides extensive mobile coverage wherever we work. We are happy to provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) upon request to ensure your event planning is stress free

Question 4

How do I safely remove the face paint?

Accepted Answer

The golden rule: always start with cleanser, never water. Splashing water first pushes color pigments deep into pores and causes skin stains.
Step 1: Cleanser first. Rub mild liquid soap directly onto dry, painted skin until the design completely loosens.Step 2: Rinse second. Wipe the soapy paint away with a warm, damp washcloth & rinse with water.Step 3: Stains Massage makeup remover or baby oil over stubborn colors, wipe clean, and wash with soap. And just like that, you’re all clean!

Question 5

What is your sick-child or skin condition policy?

Accepted Answer

For the health and safety of all your guests, we cannot paint anyone who appears visibly unwell, open wounds, severe sunburns, chicken pox scabs, active hand-foot-and-mouth blisters, or contagious skin conditions (such as pink eye, cold sores, or active rashes). In these instances, we are happy to offer a fun design on the arm, or a collectible Chawna's Face Painting for FUN sticker so no one feels left out!

Question 6

What do you require the host to provide on the day of the event?

Accepted Answer

We bring a complete, professional, highly organized mobile kit, so we handle almost everything! All we require from the host is a well-lit, flat space (ideally 6x6 feet).
If your event is outdoors, we also REQUIRE complete overhead shelter (such as a tent, canopy, or fully shaded patio) to protect our cosmetic-grade supplies and ensure the comfort of both the artist and your guests away from direct sunlight, wind, and rain.
